CHITRAL: Another suspected coronavirus patient was shifted from DHQ hospital to Peshawar on Monday.
The patient was identified as Shujaur Rehman, 29, son of Faizur Rehman, a resident of Parkusap in Upper Chitral.
The patient was kept at a quarantine centre in Drosh for a few days after he returned from Peshawar. Later, he was shifted to the DHQ hospital Chitral.
Medical superintendent of the hospital Dr Muhammad Shamim told ChitralToday that the suspected patient had been sent to Peshawar for the test of Covid-19 as the hospital lacked the facility.
A few days ago, a young man from the same village had been sent to Peshawar but he tested negative for the virus.
People here have demanded that the government should provide coronavirus testing kits to Chitral as every suspected patient cannot be sent to Peshawar for the test.–Bashir Hussain Azad
