Zahida Khan, daughter of Zahid of Reshun, and an alumna of Aga Khan University got enrolled under a Fulbright Scholarship of the Erasmus Mandus joint master degree in emergency and critical care nursing in Lisbon, Portugal.
The course offers a high rated international study programme from different prestigious healthcare institutions of Europe.
The Erasmus Mundus joint master degree in emergency and critical care nursing is the first international joint degree in advanced nursing available in Europe. It offers a highly specialized education in nursing with an advanced perspective.
Zahida Khan completed her diploma in nursing from Aga Khan University (AKU) in 2012. She did midwifery in nursing from Baqai Medical College in 2015. She completed her post-RN BScN programme from AKU in the year 2017.
She has extensive experience in nursing and was associated with AKUH as assistant head nurse in the emergency department.
She believes and aimed high to have advance theoretical education on evidence based learning and incorporate those practicum in dealing emergency and critical care in Pakistan particularly in the less developed areas like Chitral.–Wazir Ali Shah
