CHITRAL: The Corona Response Network (CRN) carried out an awareness campaign about COVID-19 in the far-off Broghil valley of Upper Chitral, says a press statement.
CRN, consisting of a group of development professionals and volunteers representing a variety of NGOs, community organisations and private entities, was established in March this year.
It has has been working amid the pandemic in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
During the awareness drive, face masks, sanitizers and soaps were distributed among family members in the scattered villages of the valley.
The residents were also educated on the signs and symptoms of teh disease and on how to keep themselves protected from the coronavirus.
