Police constables provided first-aid training

PESHAWAR, Nov 28: To enhance the professional capability of officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, IGP Nasir Khan Durrani has introduced new scheme of professional courses. policeFirst aid technique is one such course introduced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. To impart First Aid course to officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, two days training programme was arranged at all Regional HQrs in collaboration with Red Crescent Society (PRC). More than 230 constables received Basic First Aid Training at all the Regional HQrs. Syed Fida Hassan Shah, AIG Establishment, was the chief guest at the closing ceremony in Peshawar. He distributed certificates among the successful participants. Addressing the participants, he highlighted the importance of first-aid training for police officers during the time of emergency and natural calamities. He appreciated the role of Pakistan Red Crescent Society in arranging the training programme for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police officers and hoped that the same programme would continue in future as well.]]>
